Project Manager – Securities Processing IT, Hong Kong recruitment
The bank are a small but growing organisation with offices globally. They are looking to hire a seasoned project manager with experience working in securities processing or financial markets IT to run key initiatives within their technology group.
Working closely with clients in mainland China, Hong Kong and the United States, you will be a central point of leadership for all Asia IT needs.
The role will involve inputting into IT strategy, systems design and development and be responsible for the management of existing projects and new initiatives within their technology department. There is a strong client facing element to the position with the expectation that you will be able to onboard clients and integrate their technology stack.
Job Description:-
- Working closely with business executives, senior managers and the steering committee to manage technology initatives across Asia
- Take responsibility and ownership for build, design and implementation projects across the region
- Working with the banks' high profile client base to integrate their technology into the banks eCommerce environment
- Co-ordination of core product development
Skills Required:-
- At least 10 years experience in a project management position
- A development background is mandatory for the role; it is expected that the sucessful candidate will have had experience working with large scale, web based architectures
- Strong investment banking or financial markets technology experience
- English and Mandarin is mandatory for the role. Any Japanese or Korean would be a plus
