Project Manager / Technical Project Manager / Software / Web Job in London, London UK
Project Manager / Technical Project Manager - London - AGILE / Prince2 / Java / B2C / Web Technologies / Software Development with a key understanding in SCRUM and the project management process that can surround it. Ideally you will come from a solid background of project governance and will work efficiently towards time-scales delivering multiple projects through the entire project lifecycle.
As a Project Manager / Technical Project Manager you should come from a strong Software Development technical background to act as a key interface between key stakeholders and to have extensive knowledge of the pitfalls surrounding Prince2 and other non-software specific waterfall methodologies. You will be an ambitious individual, be dynamic, driven and a forward thinker with excellent problem solving ability and have demonstrable achievements with Web Technologies and sound Commercial background.
Responsibilities include:
The Project Manager will develop business cases to support system requirement
To plan, schedule and track the project development cycle and acquire resources when appropriate
The Technical Project Manager will be required to manage individuals in a matrix management structure
The Project Manager will provide regular report projects and their processes regularly to stakeholders as required
Monitor of risks and issues to mitigate the impact throughout the project lifecycle
What I'm looking for:
Basic MS Project, Excel and PowerPoint skills
Aware of structured project management methodology (e.g. Prince2) and the benefits to successful project delivery
Strong background with AGILE software development methods, preferably DSDM
A "hands on" B2C Web site project management experience
Understanding of software development particularly Java
Experience in QA and/or UAT
