We are currently looking for a Project Manager –  in Chicago, IL

Responsible for accelerating the development of local expert communities and solutions and community submission volume to meet required update goals within budgetary constraints.  This position will drive the development of an end-to-end community process for North America, initially owning the execution and then rapidly transferring ownership to local field teams. Position will also help develop overall company strategy on community, including cost-improvement and automated approaches for local RMC ownership.

 

·         Drive establishment and development of expert communities at a local level for providing content input across NA.

·         Identify and negotiate agreements with third party organizations that can provide expert communities to help drive input quickly

·         As a community tools and processes stakeholder, participate, develop, and drive execution of requirements in other parts of the organization (e.g. Product Management, GOT-MFE, GOT-Deployment Adoption, etc.). Develop and be a lead advocate for needed tools necessary to meet local Expert Community goals.

·         Develop plans to quickly facilitate the transition of community ownership to local field teams.  Develop plans to allow local teams to foster their own community development.

·         Define and achieve quantifiable goals by country (developed in conjunction with RMC Leadership) within budgetary constraints.

·         Develop effective reporting mechanisms to measure improvements and savings.

·         Determine efficient project management approaches as part of the local community strategy. Lead community engagement strategy communications/meetings with local RMC organizations to further their ownership of the community strategy and goals.

·         Facilitate low-cost, automated approaches to quickly incorporate valuable map and content updates into the database, utilizing RMC expertise for process development.

·         Understand core company process and database specifications, and ensure community tools and Processes meet needed quality goals

·         Help streamline end-to-end community processes for maximum effectiveness in meeting local community goals, championing these efforts.

·         Liaison in a cross-functional manner with other internal project efforts engaged in building and updating maps in non-traditional means. Cultivate and maintain positive working relationships with other departments (PM, GOT, Data Spec, Quality, TCS, Legal, etc.).

·         Manage document development to assist internal teams and external expert communities with meeting community goals

·         Meet with and train expert communities for maximum engagement in community processes. Understand needs/wants of expert communities and work to meet them as part of achieving community goals.

Qualifications / Requirements:

·         Undergraduate degree.  Masters a plus.  Minimum 5 years operations and/or project management experience preferred.

·         Proven experience of defining and meeting process requirements for complex initiatives.

·         History of engaging internal and external clients and garnering needed support.

·         Extensive knowledge of company specifications and proprietary tools.

·         Demonstrated experience in successful management of projects. 

·         Advanced written and oral communication skills.

·         Demonstrated advanced ability to analyze data, solve problems, and prioritize goals to achieve desired results.

·         Must have the ability to travel without restriction.
