Project Manager Transition, Change, integration/de-merger recruitment

Our client is expanding their programme/project portfolio and is seeking a proven PM with a track record of full life cycle delivery within a structured corporate changer environment. This programme will be policy led and IS enabled and as such we would like to see project managers who have experience across the full lifecycle of both business and IT programmes/projects (i.e. no continuous specialism in one domain). Experience of running projects associated with mergers and acquisitions and divestments would be beneficial.

You will need to have experience of large scale change and transition projects (preferably those that are reshaping and redefining a firms direction and make up) and be able to deliver on this whilst business as usual continues. This will include the Target Operating Model definition, experience in this area is a definite plus. You should be an excellent stakeholder manager and be seen as an influencer at high levels. You should also have had responsibility and control of budgets in excess of £10 million.

You will need to demonstrate experience of managing disparate teams (including offshore development resources) through the full software development and project life cycle and preferably you will be APM or PMI accredited. Your recent background will be within project management in banking/financial services change and you will have demonstrated that you can exercise excellent control over risks, issues, finances/budgets and people (including, at times, multiple third parties onshore and offshore).
