Project Manager, Translation Services recruitment

Position Description:

On their behalf we manage portfolios focusing on equity, fixed income, currencies, commodities, real assets, and active asset allocation, including hedge fund portfolios.

This position will support the London office as a whole and be responsible for all of our translation needs including translation of documents, coordination of translation workflow, vendor evaluation and oversight.

Responsibilities
•Translation of documents from English to German
•Translation of documents from German to English
•?Co-ordinating translation workflow, vendor evaluation and oversight, translation best practices including:
- Populating and maintaining Wellington's glossaries and memory databases
- Setting up and overseeing internal document review processes
- Ensuring that translated documents are made available, distributed, and 'filed' appropriately for use by others within the firm as well as for retention purposes
•Ad hoc project work

Qualifications
•?Multi-year investment industry experience in translation from English to German and German to English
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills in German
•?Proofing, editing and formatting skills in both German and English
•?Knowledge of investment related terminology is required
•?Knowledge of legal or regulatory terminology used in the investment industry would be helpful
•?Knowledge of Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Trados or an equivalent translation memory system
•?Extraordinary detail orientation combined with the ability to juggle multiple projects in a fast paced environment.
