The Technology and Operations team designs, develops and maintains computer application systems to support banking operations and provide innovative IT solutions, while harnessing new technologies to meet corporate objectives. In addition, we centralise, standardise and regionalise like-activities to achieve economies of scale and improve/re-engineer end-to-end processes to achieve world-class standards.
Responsibilities
- Accountable for implementation of projects and directly accountable to Program Manager (where applicable) or Solution Delivery manager
- Manage Project Financial, tracking of cost and monthly update of project financial
- Gather, validate and confirm the customer business requirements
- Develop, execute and manage the project plan
- Obtain commitments, from all identified Stakeholders, on creation of the plan and whenever changes occur
- Define deliverables and project milestones
- Ensure that Software Quality Assurance (SQA) activities are performed, review Change management activities
- Lead the Delivery Team to implement the solution to its completion and manage vendor for their deliverables
- Ensure that all issues are appropriately documented, tracked and addressed. The project issues and defects are resolved in a timely manner
- Ensure development of all project deliverables in a quality and timely manner; including appropriate project and production turnover documentation.
- Plan and ensure that key deliverables and work products are inspected
- Communicate to non-project parties (to business units and externally)
- Conduct regular review meeting and update to the steering committee members
- Monitor actual performance against estimates and planned performance and take corrective or preventive action where required.
- Obtain required approvals from relevant authorized stakeholders.
- Ensure that appropriate resources are assigned to work all project activities.
- Ensure that appropriate standard project practices and procedures are established and followed. This includes approval procedures, development methodologies, deployment practices and production turnover procedures.
Requirements
- Bachelors Degree or equivalent qualification in Computer Engineering or any IT background.
- PMP Certification (Preferred)
- 5 – 7 years of Project management experience or business analysis in finance/banking sector
- Candidates should have sound banking product knowledge preferably Treasury related products
- Good knowledge in systems, processes, risks and technology
- Good understanding of Treasury Markets products and business and its latest development
- Need to work closely with stakeholders, users, internal IT as well as suppliers from IBM or 3rd party vendors.
- Good, sound knowledge of banking and technology
- Good teamwork and inter-relationship skills
