Project Manager: Treasury Finance Systems recruitment
The main responsibility of the role is to represent the Corporate Banking Treasury as part of the overall finance change programme which is responsible for delivering a new SAP based deposit product platform.
The role will focus on ensuring that these new complex deposit products are appropriately mapped and new feeds are built to support the current risk management and Treasury platforms, namely:
- Liquidity Reporting
- Liquidity Risk Management
- Interest Rate Risk Management
- Risk Adjusted Performance Measurement
- Other CBD Treasury functions
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing project management and business analysis expertise, while leading key project work streams.
- Supporting business subject matter experts in delivering Finance Treasury requirements for the programme.
- Working with a team of project managers, business analysts and matrix management of SMEs.
- Representing finance led governance forums, and facing off to sub work streams,
- Managing the process to drive out business requirements, influencing design and development decisions led by the Group Finance Change workstream, coordinating training requirements, managing communication plan, managing user acceptance testing and regression testing on downstream reporting applications, supporting the central finance work stream team during implementation and defining transition stages for Finance/Treasury as new systems and processes are being implemented.
Requirements:
- Accountancy background with Graduate or Accountancy Qualification
- Structured project management methodologies – e.g. Prince 2
- User Acceptance Testing – plans, scripting, execution experience
- Good understanding of Treasury data warehousing, MI and reporting solutions, systems architecture, data flows, data models and data interface design
Experience of the following while not essential would be beneficial on some projects:
- Six sigma and Lean techniques
- Risk management experience, in particular, Liquidity Risk management and Liquidity Reporting
- Experience of working with SAP deposit module in a change environment
