Project Manager (US I-bank) recruitment
Successful applicant will be hired on 1 year contract basis, contract renewal subjects to performacne.
Job Requirements:
- Direct project activities to ensure high quality results within defined time schedules with ownership for the complete end to end process
- Responsible for overall project planning coordination, tracking, and status reporting
- Ensure that the project management techniques and processes conform to corporate standards
- Ensure that objectives conform to bank/line of business' overall standards and fulfill user requirements
- Resolve conflicts by demonstrating leadership and appropriate decision making competencies within the resources (direct or indirect) assigned to the project effort
- Monitor and creation of project deliverables
- Coordination of subject experts, marketing/communication, training, and other project resources to ensure deliverable content accuracy and completion
- Organizing, planning, scheduling, coordinating, and controlling project activities and resources
- Assigning ownership of workstream tasks and action items and communication of targeted project milestone dates
- Develop the master workstream breakdown schedule (WBS) and ensuring that it is maintained and that updates are incorporated into the master program-level schedule regularly
- Identify issues and risks, developing effective risk management approaches and solutions and working with appropriate members of the team or stakeholders to resolve issues
- Owning and ensuring regular maintenance of the project's central repository
- Provide regular management status reporting; interacting with key stakeholders and managing expectations
- Engaging key stakeholder groups upport group when applicable
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor degree required, Master's degree preferred
- 8 - 10 years banking experience, a minimum of 5 years in a project management related position
- Strong analytical skills
- Proven ability to deliver projects on-time, in budget, and with high quality
- Ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams and interact with all levels
- Ability to be flexible, follow tight deadlines, organize and prioritize work
- Problem resolution
- Strong leader/staff management experience
- Excellent PC skills, with proficiency in MS Project, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel
- Ability to work independently
- Be an excellent communicator both written and verbal
- Be goal driven, flexible and be able to adapt to change quickly
- PMI training/certification a plus
- Knowledge of cash management, custody and other transaction services products
- English is a must while Mandarin or Cantonese, Japanese a plus
