Job Description:

This role is for a contract Project Manager who will manage the RFP and implementation of the redesign of the client's web site. This will involve working with several units across the enterprise in gathering business requirements, developing and supporting an RFP for an implementation provider, and managing the implementation project.
Resources that have web development / implementation experience will receive priority in the interviewing process.
This project has executive level attention, so outstanding communication skills and a professional manner / appearance are critical.

Specific Skills for this Role:

Experience with web development / implementation is required. Must have a proven track record in building requirements for a project with broad enterprise impact.
Business Analysis (BA) skills.
Demonstrated ability to manage projects where key delivery team members are vendors.
Demonstrated ability to evaluate professional service providers.
Demonstrated ability to manage enterprise-level projects within a highly-matrixed organization.

Basic Skills and Experience Required:

Requires a minimum of five years background in Project Management.
Requires in-depth knowledge of project management best practice and experience using MS Project, MS Office, SharePoint, and MS Access and other related software products.
Must possess excellent written and oral communications skills and the ability to clearly define projects, objectives, goals, schedules and assignments, consensus building and conflict resolution.
Must be able to clearly define and present ideas, and effectively communicate with all levels of management.
Must possess the ability to work effectively with business personnel at all levels as well as with outside vendors and contractors.
Must exercise a reasonable amount of independent judgment under a minimum of supervision.
Requires strong interpersonal and organizational skills, including the ability to meet deadlines.
Formal project and/or program management training and certification preferred.
Adheres to the Client's Corporate Project Process.
Serves as liaison between project-related outsourced vendors, client business and technical resources during project implementations.
