Project Manager/Business Analyst – Market and Credit Risk Data
Our Client is a tier one Investment Bank. It is seeking to hire a Project Manager/Business Analyst to work on a Common Platform for Market and Credit Risk Data and DQM initiative for the Investment Bank.
You will be working with the CRO Change Team on the initiation phase of the implementation of the Data Quality Management initiative for Market and Credit Risk Data with forms part of a Strategic Risk Programme.
You will work closely with CRO Change, IT and the Front Office responsible for:
- Defining and rolling out key project delivery metrics
- Reviewing data quality controls being implemented and (where appropriate) getting Front “buy in” to take ownership upstream and laying out milestone schedule
- Taking the lead in addressing and resolving potential design issues which require senior management decision
- Supporting IT project managers in proactively managing Front Office dependencies (when needed)
You will have recently worked as a Project Manager/Business Analyst with an Investment Bank or Consultancy firm on a DQM initiative for Market and Credit Risk Data with the following:
- Experience in the Financial Services sector with Data programmes involving significant change in an investment bank
- Very strong analytical skills and strategic thinking
- Good general financial markets knowledge e.g. products, valuations, markets, risk practices
- Good understanding of risk processes, ideally both credit and market risk
- Proven track record of delivery of complex change initiatives
- Very strong communication and stakeholder management skills – able to communicate with subject matter experts on detail matters and with senior management
