Project Manager/Lead Business Analyst recruitment

Main Duties
· Define and structure overall analysis approach
· Define project plan, key milestones and deliverables. Manage regular status reporting

· Lead, manage and perform analysis:

o Define approach and perform business analysis, document findings and present proposals; help design solutions in line with strategic vision of the program and firm

o Elicit and document business requirements, act as the interface between Ops line functions SMEs, Finance and technology

· Define Operations specific business requirements for inclusion in the overall program

· Analyse impact of proposed changes on business areas and processes within Operations

· Work with SMEs to validate analysis/ requirements, testing preparation and liaise with Ops users during user testing

· Manage risks and issues: Identify/ anticipate obstacles, analyse and propose resolutions

· Work with the Operations teams to help define any interim process models required during the transition periods from current state to target state during the phased implementation

· Assist with training, communication and education across Operations

Person Requirements

· Ability to confidently represent the Ops Project Team when working with the various Operations teams, at Working Group forums and with Product Control and Financial Control

· Ability to partner and develop strong working relationships with key stakeholders from various areas of Operations and more broadly across the organisation

· Ability to motivate others to be enthusiastic about change, to generate momentum and enthusiasm about a project

· Strong communication skills both verbal written

· Good organisational time management skills

· Strong team player

· Proactive in identifying control gaps, defining resolution through to closure

· Self starter, with the ability to hit the ground running

Business Skills

· Good understanding of investment banking, and the industry sector

· Good understanding of front to back operational process flows, especially focused on controls and interactions with finance
· Experience of working with ledgers/accounting data in investment banking

· Working knowledge of at least one asset class
