Alfa Laval is a Swedish multination growing company and we are now looking for 2 Project Managers to strengthen our technology center for food solutions placed in Parma. You will manage projects and participate in their execution for food industry plants all around the world.
Ø Project Managers for Food solutions
Engineering Supply (ES) is a truly global support organization committed to deliver high quality project management within a wide range of applications and industries. As project manager, you will be responsible for the delivery and economy of assigned projects according to contract.You will be working in an international environment crossing borders and cultures. You should therefor expect to travel 30-50 days a year.
Key tasks
· Manage food processing projects world wide with medium to high complexity
· Participate in project engineering to individual customer requirements.
· Making Process Instrument Diagrams, Flow diagrams and verify documentation
· Participate in start-up and commissioning at customer site
· Secure an ongoing cost reduction on projects by implementiing more efficient processes
· Initiate optimisation and innovation of working methods, tools, standardization, design and component choices
· Providing services and sales support internal Alfa Laval and to customers
Ideal candidate
· Engineering or technical design degree
· Min.3 years working experience. Preferably as project manager within the food processing industry
· Knowledge on designing PID for food processing plants
· Knowledge in project economy
· Strong in analysis, work systematically, structure and prioritize your assignments
· Proactive approach to tasks and communication, and motivated to solve customers´ problems to their satisfaction
· Good in written and spoken English, preferably also Italian

· Designing, drafting and engineering of products and solutions for assigned projects
· Taking responsibility for start-up and commissioning at customer site
· Selection and design solutions based on customer requests and applicable standards and codes
· Improving current technical solutions and developing new solutions to ensure competitive advantage
· Providing services and sales support internal Alfa Laval and to customers
· Participating in project meetings
Ideal candidate
· Engineering or technical design degree
· Able to design Process and Instruments Diagrams for well known processes within food processing (using AutoCAD)
· Independent in designing Layout, piping and Foundation for well known processes (using Inventor)
· Capable of specification both simple and complex components and ordering simple ones
· Committed to project deliverables with systematic and structured working style
· Proactive approach to tasks and communication, and motivated to solve customers´ problems to their satisfaction
· A teamplayer who is ready to help and cover for colleagues
· Can write and speak English and Italian
· High curiosity within the area and eager to learn

Ø Automation Engineer
Alfa Laval is a swedish multinational growing company and we are now looking for an Automation Engineer to strengthen our technology center for food solutions placed in Parma. You will participate in projects working on specifications, development and commissioning of control systems for food industry plants all around the world.
Key tasks
· Designing, drafting and engineering of automation solutions (hardware and software) for assigned projects
· Execute PLC and HMI programming (Siemens and Allen-Bradley)
· Carry out test at factory
· Taking responsibility for start-up and commissioning at customer site
· Providing services and sales support internal Alfa Laval and to customers
· Participating in project meetings
Ideal candidate
· Automation or electrical engineer
· Experience with Project and Instruments Diagrams and S88 for food processing plants
· Experienced in PLC + HMI programming and motion control
· Committed to project deliverables with systematic and structured working style
· Proactive approach to tasks and communication, and motivated to solve customers´ problems to their satisfaction
· A teamplayer who is ready to help and cover for colleagues
· Can write and speak English and Italian
