PROJECT MANAGERS
ROLE
The Project Manager is responsible for successfully managing the product implementation within the Project Plan and in accordance with the Implementation Methodology and client’s business objectives. The Project Manager takes the leadership in project planning, resourcing, progress reporting, project team management, troubleshooting and the continuing maintenance of good customer relations.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Deliver end-to-end projects successfully, within scope, on time, within budget, and of quality.
- Determine the scope and clear business objectives of the project and the critical success factors of implementing projects
- Prepare and communicate the Project Plan to the client and the project team
- Obtain client sign off on: project definition and scope, project deliverables and agreed milestones and all change control items
- Plan, manage and maximize utilization of project resources
- Implement and manage project Change Control procedures
- Monitor quality of deliverables according to the Implementation Methodology and standards and maintain Project File and TMQ documentation
- Contribute to the business and technical aspects of the project as needed
- Manage and own the resolution of all inter work stream issues
- Manage a multi-discipline team (both functional and technical as well as client teams): carry out end-of-project performance appraisals for team members involved, identify with them and report training and development needs
- Produce Project Dashboards and hold project meetings, on a regular basis, with the team and separately with the client to ensure that project is on track
- Manage client expectations, develop and maintain close relationships with the client and ensure client is fully satisfied
- Inform Management on issues outside own responsibilities that may affect the success of a project or company position with the client
REQUIREMENTS
- Certification in Project Management needed
- Must have at least 5 years experience as a Project Manager
- Prior to PM experience, previous expertise is in the Banking or Financial domain specially as a Business or Technical Consultant
- Good oral / written communication and presentation skills
- Experienced in negotiating with clients and management
- Results oriented
- Financial reporting skills in forecasting, budgeting and reporting
- Has the people skills required to be able to manage and motivate the team
