Project Manager required to work for a leading Consultancy firm in London where you will be responsible for the development and implementation of technology and process projects for both internal and external clients. You will work as part of a growing team responsible for a range of implementation and support functions with the team being split between developers, business and support roles.
As a Project Manager, your responsibilities will include defining the scope and scheduling each phase, liaising with key team members to determine budgets and timelines, maintaining regular updates with your client. You will also be responsible for delivering the projects on time and within budget. Therefore you should experience with managing concurrent projects and be capable of forging good working relationships with external clients, internal stakeholders, the business and technology teams. You will play a pivotal role within the team and bring industry best practice to the group.
Essential:
- Project Management skills within the financial services
- A proven track record of at least 3-5 years for delivery of technology based projects between £100k-£500k budgets, working with multi disciplinary teams
- Creating and tracking project plans, working with functional leads to agree resourcing and estimating project budgets
- Ensuring budgets are adhered to and escalating where there is a perceived risk of scope creep and impact on financials
- Experience and full involvement in project life cycles
- Ability to work effectively with both business and IT staff in a pressured environment
- Well-structured and logical approach to working
