Project Planner
The Project Planner partners with the PM's and Component Managers (department manager) to define vision, goals and objective to support, analyze and report progress of projects against schedules. Person will have to be comfortable with the scheduling aspects of the job. Planner advises project team on the use of Project Management Processes. Develops with team: Project Plan, WBS (work breakdown structure), Estimates hours, Network Diagram, Schedule Development, Change Control Management, Communications Management, Risk Management Plan. The plan will measure work progress, manage and assign resources, track milestones, monitor project metrics such as earned value, burn rate etc... This person must have great soft skills as well as technical knowledge of the SDLC and PMBOK methodology.
