Project Portfolio Intern recruitment

Description

Project portfolio team is BSITS team dedicated to follow project financial and report to Management Board level. It aims to ensure full management of projects financials, to report on the quality of the projects and to prepare the next year portfolio.

1. Reporting to BSITS SSC Changes Manager, your main responsibilities will be the following:

•  Create an automated tool to link the different referentials and create an up-to-date and unique information around

Project portfolio items

•  Provide regular reporting analysis on projects Man-days and staff resources on a regular basis

•  Ensure a good relationship with the Project Manager by informing them and answering to their requests

•  Provide day to day support to the Project Portfolio Manager

Tool building

•  Understand the different referentials used

•  Collect the needs and propose a prototype of Portfolio management tool

•  Liaise with the different Quality Governance teams and ensure all the needs / requests are taken into account

•  Put in place a workflow if possible

Reporting and analysis

•  Generate recurring monthly reports (e.g. Man-days reports) in a timely manner

•  Provide discerning analysis on Man-days, staff resources or any financial costs evolution (volume, non rechargeable activities…)

•  Answer ad-hoc inquiries whenever required

Project Portfolio Manager Support

•  Contribute to a certain extent to the Project Portfolio Manager day to day activity (project codes opening / validation, business information gathering, projects financials follow-up, meeting with Project Managers, …)

2. What sort of profile are we looking for ?

•  Business school: 2nd year or equivalent

•  Strong organisational skills and attentive to details

•  Good knowledge of MS Excel

•  Client focus

•  At ease with the manipulation of financial data for management purpose

•  Good communication and interpersonal skills in both French and English (the day-to-day business is written in English but most of the time the language used is the French)
