Project Procurement & Logistics Manager (m/f) Job in Baden, Aargau Switzerland
Strengthen our team in Baden (AG) with your management expertise.
Your tasks: Prepare and place purchase orders, organize approvals as per validation rules
and check acknowledgement from suppliers • Assume responsibility for purchase order
management during the whole process • Organize and perform supplier kick-off meetings • Ensure that agreed milestones and soft deliverables (documentation) are met • Monitor the provision of proper inputs by Alstom to suppliers as per contract • Promote interfaces between Procurement and other functions for efficient communication and decision-making
• Handle change orders and supplier bonds as well as concession and clarification
requests • Organize expediting activities as well as notification and inspection management •
Implement supplier performance mechanisms, measure and correct as appropriate • Handle
claims with suppliers in case of contract deviations • Lead identification of risks and
implementation of mitigation actions for the supply scope • Escalate risks and issues to Functional and Project Management • Lead the resolution of issues and implementation of corrective actions • Handle pre-notices and coordinate transports • Release payments as per supplier performance according to contract
Your profile: Bachelor’s degree in engineering or commercial degree • Project management or procurement experience • Know-how in claim, material and quality management
as well as in scheduling • Understanding of production planning and time scheduling •
Knowledge of contract law (terms and conditions) including transport, insurance, taxes and duties • Negotiation skills and intercultural competence
