Posted Position Title: Project / Program Manager Business Solutions Career Level: Experienced Function Information Technology Function Segment: Business Solutions Location: United States U.S. State, China or Canada Provinces: Georgia City: Atlanta Postal Code: 30260-3800 Relocation Assistance No Role Summary/Purpose: IM Project Manager Business Solutions - ERP Inventory / Supply Chain is responsible for developing Oracle ERP Inventory / Supply Chain strategy and execution plans based on business requirements through partnership with various business segments. Lead high impact and long-range Oracle ERP initiatives; including development of broad architectural process design strategies. Ability to lead project teams, execute plans, and work independently is key requirements for this position. Essential Responsibilities - Serve as solution delivery expert for the design and implementation of Inventory / Supply Chain applications - Lead the analysis, Fit / Gap, design, development, implementation, and maintenance of large / complex IT solutions for business processes - Work as a business partner with client leaders and users to evaluate/improve business processes - Leverage existing solutions and global design to drive standardization simplification to reduce implementation timelines costs - Provide Oracle Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solutions in the design, development, modification, implementation and maintenance of cost effective business solutions on multiple ERP projects across Energy Services - Provide process / Oracle expertise for Inventory / Supply Chain - Partner with internal organizations like Oracle Center of Excellence and external organizations like Oracle to understand the latest trends in the ERP space and implement them effectively - Maximize utilization of ERP applications core functionality and simplify customizations - Follow GE Lean Six-sigma Tollgate process, Drive to Tollgate deliverables - Maintain repository of all ERP processes design and formalize project plan to quickly integrate new business Qualifications/Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science or Engineering (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 4 years of experience in the application of information technologies to business solutions) - Hands-on 7+ years experience of leading and implementing at least 3 large-scale full life cycle global Oracle ERP implementations - Minimum 3 years of implementation experience within the Inventory / Supply Chain domain area Additional Eligibility Qualifications GE will only employ those who are legally authorized to work in the United States for this opening. Desired Characteristics - In-Depth functional knowledge of end to end Inventory / Supply Chain, Planning processes - In-Depth knowledge of Oracle ERP Inventory / Supply Chain modules: BOM, WIP, Costing, Quality, Project Distribution / Supply Chain, WMS, Discrete Manufacturing, Order Management and related Supply Chain modules - Experience with version 11.5.10 and R12 of the Oracle eBusiness Suite - Expertise in Oracle Applications business and technical Architecture and Standards (AOL, AIM, API's, etc.) - Strong knowledge and understanding of application configurations, setups for ERP modules - MS in Computer Science or related degree - Green Belt Certified (GE Employees Only) - Proven ability to lead change, gain consensus and continuously improve processes - Experience using Lean Six Sigma tools and techniques to drive change - Proven analytical and problem resolution skills. Project Management (PMI) certifications preferred - Excellent leadership, Project management and Strategic thinking skills, and a proven ability to collaborate and communicate well with senior staff as well as mentor and motivate staff and build high-performance teams - Solid facilitation and presentation skills to lead design sessions with business and technical audiences to come up with solutions for ERP domain. - Demonstrated ability to lead and drive change in a complex matrix environment - Experienced in a phased Oracle ERP implementation Why join one great company when you can join many?
