PROJECT MANAGER / TRANSITION PROGRAMME
3 MONTHS INITIALLY WITH A VIEW TO EXTEND
BERKSHIRE
£400 - £450 PER DAY

My client is a FTSE company one of the UK's top employers. Globally recognised and looking for a Project Manager to deliver change projects within Finance, IT and to hit the ground running on a crucial programme involving an FCA (Financial Conduct Authority) Transition. The role is for an initial 3 months with a view to extend.

You will be some one who is very experienced in delivering key projects from start to finish and within budget. You will also be someone who can handle the pressures of senior management and be able to work and influence key stakeholders. You will be managing the full project lifecycle from initiation through to live operation.

It is expected that in discharging the accountabilities described below the post holder will consult with, and gain the support of all key stakeholders, in particular the CIO, other members of the IT Senior Management Team (SMT) and the Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO).

Whilst the role is going to focus on many new projects, in time it will open out across the business too, giving the successful applicant a very high profile within the organisation.

Prince 2 foundation/Practitioner, solid experience in an IT or Finance Project Management arena.

Consultative, empathetic, confident with real gravitas.

Key Skills:

Experience of running large projects/programmes of work.
Attention to detail coupled with the ability to see the bigger picture.
A minimum of 5 years’ experience delivering projects
Proven experience of delivering transition projects.
Ability to communicate at all levels within the organisation.
Providing effective liaison with key stakeholders and the project overall.
Managing all stakeholders effectively by using influencing techniques to gain support for the project.
Experience of Compliance within a regulated firm.
