Project Risk analyst recruitment
A multinational Energy business based in the heart of London is currently searching for a Project Risk analyst to sit within the Energy Market and Credit Risk team. The business has seen consistent growth over the past decade and is therefore able to offer fantastic career progression and opportunities in other areas of the business. The position has become vacant due to an internal restructure allowing for this role to take on significant budget for new projects. The responsibilities of the position include:
- Improve risk systems and processes in order to ensure that they are operationally efficient and reliable
- Provide expert input into the development and testing of systems and processes through developing strong working relationships with other key departments
- Have a key contribution and maintain a comprehensive understanding for the implementation and development of risk systems and processes
- Build good relationships with stakeholders to improve risk system efficiency and reliability
- Investigate breach and incident reports and make appropriate recommendations
The ideal candidate will be degree educated and have a very good understanding of trading risk management, associated TRM systems and markets. You will have the ability to write processes and work on projects as well as experience in an environment which has called on your operational or technical duties within trading or risk management. A background in energy would be ideal but this is by no means a pre-requisite; wholesale trading or retail banking experience would also be acknowledged.
On offer is a very competitive salary of between £40,000 and £50,000 together with an excellent pension and share scheme and a bonus.
