Project & Structured Finance, VP
Our client is one of the leading banks in the region with a strong corporate and investment banking franchise. They are seeking to expand their structured finance team that works on structured, such as LBOs and acquisition finance, and project finance transactions in the region.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Develop, originate and execute new project and structured finance business in Singapore and the region.
- Manage the entire credit origination, documentation, regulatory and execution process. This includes the assessment of credit risk and structuring; preparation of credit applications and manage documentation
- Financial modelling – creation, maintenance and development of robust financial models supporting a range of projects and sectors as well as reviewing the integrity of financial models prepared externally.
- Provide specialist support on the ongoing management of existing portfolio of structured finance accounts to the Relationship Manager(s).
- Monitor trends within the sectors and updated knowledge of the market and its effect on the portfolio/new business prospects.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in project and structured finance.
- Sound credit and structuring skills.
- Experience in the construction and modification of project finance models
- Attention to details
- Must be able to work independently, driven, self-motivated and strong in interpersonal skills
- Strong knowledge of banking products especially investment banking, cash management and treasury
- Willingness to travel
