One of my leading Asset Management clients based in West London is looking for a new Team Leader to manage the Business Analysis and projects team due to an internal promotion. The team is responsible for all projects across IT from a small fix to a large implementation. As a result they are looking for someone to take over the Business Analysis team which is made up of resources in London, Geneva and Asia who manage projects for the whole of the EU.
As well as team management a large part of the role will be internal and external relationship management. Ensuring that their needs are met, business critical projects are prioritised and anything IT related is managed effectively. The business uses a large number of vendor products but also has many in house applications so management of all of these platforms is essential.
Projects vary from large to small and can affect any area of the business from Front, Middle or Back Office. There are a number of projects on the go at the moment and a large push to improve reporting such as looking at a new vendor for Factsheets, Client Books and Client Accounting. Changes to client reporting and upgrades of Salesforce are also taking place.
To be successful in this role, they are looking for someone with:
• Strong Asset Management experience
• Broad Front to Back knowledge of an Asset Management firm and the technologies needed
• Team management skills and managed a team of BA’s previously
• Project Management experience
• Internal and external relationship management skills.
