As the applications support function grows to support business demand, operational management is sought to coordinate the process of major changes to applications to deliver enterprise wide production management organisation.
As the organisation is in growth mode your key role will be to coordinate and manage the requirements and process of major changes to existing applications and initial roll outs of new applications. There is also a heavy emphasis on managing key business relationships and also those relationships with 3 party vendors.
The role holder will be expected to be technically literate and be proactively involved in major change programs to ensure requirements of non-functional operational changes are met. Experience managing vendor relationships to deliver a service is also desired.
Key responsibilities of the role:-
- Advise / Guide on the delivery of Operational Acceptance (OA) activities to the Bank’s operational standards within budget and on time.
- Advise / Guide on OA activities during the Release initiation meetings when required
- Drive out OA standard using defined templates to enable vendor partners to deliver OA to the Bank’s standards
- Be the point of contact for OA related enquires that come from the Service Desk / Release Delivery
- Support the Delivery Centre head by ensuring compliance to the OA strategy is adhered to
- Ensure the sign-off and close out reports are produced accurately and published at the correct time.
- Drive sustainable improvements across all areas of PRC capability, be that people, process or tools, towards establishing a world class operation; monitoring and measuring the effectiveness and efficiency of PRC for their area of responsibility.
- Provide regular status reports to senior managers.
