PROJECT/PROGRAM OFFICER – GOVERNMENT – SYDNEY
About the Job
- 6 MONTH CONTRACT
- GOVERNMENT APS LEVEL 6 ROLE
- SYDNEY CBD LOCATION
- Arranging contracts with grant recipients, stakeholder liaison, performance monitoring, and operational support
- Assist with the allocation of grants, processing of these grants and communicating with Liaison Officers on a regular basis
- Financial and administrative tasks, such as performance reporting and other payments
- Respond to enquiries and requests for information
- Prepare advice, reports and briefings for senior departmental staff
- Other general administrative tasks
- Hold a current Protected Clearance, gained from working within Government
- Circa 2-5 years Project Administration or Program Coordination gained from within Government or equivalent
- Knowledge of contracts administration/coordination for the management of grants
- Outstanding communication skills and strong written skills, including experience in the preparation of reports, advice, briefings and correspondence
- Effectively able to liaise on many levels from community bodies, grant recipients, internal stakeholders, Government and non government agencies
- Advanced MS Office, in particular Excel for reporting
