Prop Trader / Equity Portfolio Manager wanted for Blue-chip Investment Fund
Our client, an international branded Investment Management with a historical track record as one of Europe’s very top Hedge Funds, is looking for a Fund Manager or former top-tier Investment Bank Prop Trader with an excellent track record and autonomous mindset with strong fundamental research, discretionary management and technical analysis to join their fund and manage seeded capital, investing in their own discretionary portfolio. The firm are boutique, around $1-2B, with a very friendly but dynamic and performance-driven atmosphere and have a very low turnover of employees, unlike many such ‘seeding platforms’.
The right candidate will be an equity trader or long/short fund manager with a short-term time horizon and confident in their ability to be an alpha-generator. is looking for a self-sufficient long/short equity Fund Manager to run their own book with seeded capital and mange their own fund. This role will be suitable for sector specific or generalist senior Portfolio Managers.
Fund Managers who will be right for this role will:
- Demonstrate a strong Track Record covering Global/GEM or European long/short equities
- Keen to work towards a large % gain for their accumulated PnL
- Show very short-term equities track record or come from a Prop Trading desk at a top-tier bank
- Be confident in their own alpha-generating ability to work and mange the fund autonomously and with full portfolio construction discretion
- Strong-minded, independent and responsible worker within a larger team platform
