*Property Manager~ Job in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania US
1. Primary Purpose of the Function
- Responsible for property management activities such as easements and lease management.
- Responsible for developing and maintaining inventory of owned properties and database of property data.
- Assists Sr. BRM in marketing and redevelopment of brownfields properties managed by APM.
- Responsible for Tenant and Broker relationship management.
- Support Corporate Development in all owned real estate issues associated with MA activity.
- Assist APM and BU's in all owned real estate issues.
2. Major activities/Key challenges:
- Developing and maintaining inventory of owned properties
- Working with plants and sites to create and populate a database of property data.
- Identifying and monitoring existing leases, easements and other property constraints at various sites.
- Work with APM team to develop Asset Management Plans for facilities.
- Upon plant closure, work with APM team to maximize return and minimize liabilities.
3. Essential Knowledge Skills/Education
- 10+ years of relevant real estate/property asset management experience
- Experience in management of industrial properties
- Established industrial sector relationships within the brokerage community
- Knowledge of real estate transactional requirements and documents
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Experience in a corporate environment
- Experience in environmentally impacted real estate helpful
4. Major Customers
- Senior Leadership within APM and GBS
- Alcoa operating and non-operating locations with assets (land and other) in need of management
- Tenants
Basic Qualifications
- 10+ years of relevant real estate/property asset management experience
- Experience in management of industrial properties
- Established industrial sector relationships within the brokerage community
- Knowledge of real estate transactional requirements and documents
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Experience in a corporate environment
- Bachelors degree
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in environmentally impacted real estate preferred
