Property Manager (PM)
Job Summary
The Property Manager (PM) will be a highly coordinated position that will manage numerous aspects through all phases of the commercial real estate properties. The PM will gain real-world exposure to property management, project management, accounting, corporate operations, and legal/contractual coordination and compliance. The PM will work in a fast-paced environment across a broad geography, manage multiple unique projects, and collaborate directly with senior leadership. This individual will be responsible for the overall management of one or more properties at the same time and will be expected to be increasingly involved in the Company’s strategic decision making process over time.
Principal Responsibilities
- Ensure Company’s responsibilities under legal property contracts which include but are not limited to managing: facility contractual obligations, fiscal spending compliance, project operating budgets, service requirements, and reporting requirements.
- Management and tracking of property/project work for satisfactory completion and timing using YARDI and other real estate management software
- Coordinate effectively and extensively with ground-level personnel including but not limited to Property Managers, Building Engineers, and contracted third-party vendors
- Work with Company’s accounting department to ensure fiscal compliance under building management contracts
- Collaborate frequently with internal and external project stakeholders on a team and individual level
- Provide detailed reports to Company’s property management clients
- Actively contribute to Company management discussions and think critically about opportunities for departmental improvement and new business development
Minimum Essential Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field
- Ability to maintain superb attention to detail, confidentiality, integrity, and professionalism in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
- Proven entreprenurial skill and desire to expand role and responsibilities in order to professionally grow within the organization
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment
