Specific Job Description -Successful candidate will be able to understand the requirements of an RFP, support all pricing activities, and provide general guidance to a proposal team regarding cost estimating methodologies. -Candidate needs to have the ability to provide analytical support to include "what if" scenarios, plan define proposal deliverables, assist in business case preparation, present analysis in management reviews. -Candidate needs to be organized with the ability to document, categorize, and file all sources of input, write and/or validate the accuracy of BOEs, as well as support DCAA, Customer, and Internal Audits. -Candidate needs to be compliance oriented, following Corporate, RFP, TINA, FAR, and AMS requirements. He/She will be able to provide traceability between proposal input and source documents. Will also need to hold proposal teams accountable to schedule as well as compliance to policies. -Must be able to work independently or as a member of a team and be willing to submit work to peers for review and correction. Will also need to provide support to peers in reviewing their work for accuracy and compliance. -The successful candidate will be able to meet deadlines and maintain a positive attitude in the midst of challenging circumstances. -The position requires potentially extensive travel, and weekend work. Standard Job Description Develops, plans and schedules proposals. Compiles cost, schedule, and technical elements in the development of proposals in accordance with request for proposal (RFP) specifications. Coordinates the collection and accumulation of cost, scheduling, and performance elements from functional departments. Researches and analyzes historical data, develops cost models to support proposal efforts. Coordinates activities and participates in fact-finding meetings. Participates in should-cost and pricing reviews with management and customer representatives. Participates as a member of the contract negotiating team.
