Current SSBI/Special Programs Access - US Citizenship Required about security clearance definitions Position Description The Information Solutions Business Capture function is responsible for overall business strategy execution for our part in the $32B Boeing Defense, Space Security (BDS) business within The Boeing Company. As a member of this team, you will have the opportunity to shape the future of the Aerospace Defense industry and to participate in realizing new business for one of the most successful defense and security companies in the world. As a Proposal Specialist, you will participate as a member of multi-disciplined teams in the execution of the business campaign processes and the preparation and delivery of compliant and compelling proposals for opportunities of the highest strategic importance to BDS. Required Skills: Candidates must have at least 5 or more of development experience with competitive proposals for the US Government or international agencies. Candidates must be willing to travel 10% of the time and be willing to work 10% overtime over the course of a year. The duties of this position will include, but are not limited to the following: Provides subject matter expertise in more than one area related to the development of new process techniques and standards for acquiring new business. Be a subject matter expert in a minimum of one of the seven steps of the BDS Integrated Business Acquisition Process (IBAP) and gain familiarity with all seven steps. Upon assignment to a proposal team, develop and deliver a proposal product. As assigned, develop and deliver processes to facilitate campaign execution or proposal development. Tailor and adapt processes to the unique characteristics and dynamic environments of campaigns and proposals. Determines marketing and sales team objectives, goals, and plans and acquires resources, including budget and schedule planning and performance measures. For specific campaigns, as assigned, develop and produce: win strategy, themes development; campaign schedule; campaign resources and staffing requirements; and lessons learned. Ensure timely, fully compliant product delivery and contributes directly to program and executive level decision making. Ensure compliant, responsive campaign documentation, including Gate reviews and capture plans under IBAP processes. Ensures proposal quality and delivery to customer. Interpret standard processes, products and services division-wide on teams and in programs and functional organizations. Assist with strategy workshops, proposal workshops, and win strategy steering committees.
