The Opportunity

 

The Proposal Writer will be responsible for responding to requests for proposals and supporting the sales team by locating existing documentation and creating new documentation to aid the field in winning business.  This position requires a unique and talented individual with strong writing skills who can quickly become an expert on all aspects of the software application, can manage and build relationships, and can communicate the relevant business benefits of Cornerstone’s solutions to multiple audiences.

This position will be based in Santa Monica, California, and will report to the Manager of Sales Operations.  Success in this role may provide a host of additional opportunities for growth such as swift career progression, and significant financial upside.  Cornerstone is committed not only to recruiting top talent, but also to retaining great people.

 

Responsibilities

 

·         Preparing proposals and responses to Requests for Proposal (RFP)

·         Organizing sales, proposal and marketing materials

·         Creating and executing targeted sales support efforts

 

Experience / Qualifications

·         Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or equivalent

·         Excellent writing, communication, time management and organizational skills

·         Strong drive to achieve results with minimal supervision

·         Excel, Word, PowerPoint and superior Microsoft desktop skills preferred
