Proposition Development Analyst

ASA's client, a global FS provider, is seeking an experienced Proposition Development Analyst to join their team on a permanent basis..

As a Proposition Development Analyst you will be responsible for designing, developing and implementing high quality proposition developments, processes and features that satisfy customer needs, are aligned to business objectives and the wider marketing strategy and make a substantial and tangible contribution to the overall business line profitability.

Key Responsibilities

• Actively shapes and contributes to proposition development elements of business plan for their product/market.
• Identifies new opportunities to improve the proposition. Prepares and presents business cases to senior management across divisions to gain agreement to proposals.
• Proactively investigates and recommends solutions to issues raised which are impacting on the effectiveness of the proposition.
• Produces business cases for proposals and presents to relevant governance/sign-off bodies and gains their approval.
• Designs, develops and implements propositions, processes and features which generate new business, improve customer retention and which make significant contribution to IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standard) for their product line(s).
• Develops and manages new propositions in order to add maximum value by successfully influencing key internal areas to ensure focus of proposition can be delivered as intended.
• Understands in detail the products managed in their market so they can anticipate opportunities and make recommendations to generate value for the Company.
• Provides support and recommendations to the Head of Product Line to enhance proposition development and ensure best practice is adopted within the team.
• Represents the company and builds good working relationships with key advisors.
• Produces and analyses MI on product line in order to support and develop decisions on category or campaigns.

Criteria Required

Essential

• Proven track record of project management or change management - track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
• Proven ability to communicate to and influence a wide range of audiences, including senior managers.
• Proven track record of business analysis in a complex environment.
• Extensive and detailed experience in financial services in Marketing or Project Management.
• Educated to degree level or equivalent.

Desirable

• Certificate of Financial Planning qualified.
