Proposition Manager, SME Segment Job in Staines Tw18 3Dz, Home Counties Uk

The Proposition Manager-SME Segments is responsible for ensuring Bupa is always delivering against short to medium term commercial marketing objectives in the SME segment with an emphasis on new business.

Specifically, the role will take responsibility for delivering tactical propositions to maximise third party partnership opportunities and ensuring suitable channel support programmes are built, enhanced and sustained.

The role also provides a ‘rapid response’ capability, ensuring Bupa is quick to respond to market changes affecting the SME market whether competitive, political etc.

The Propositions Manager provides support to the Senior Proposition Manager(s) to form and deliver coherent business proposals and delivery plans.

 

Key Responsibilities

·        Leading delivery of propositions and offers for third party opportunities working with channel stakeholders, leading delivery of tactical initiatives within agreed customer, channel, budget/commercial and timescale parameters for intermediary channel and for affinity partnerships schemes.

·        Responsibility for full process from design, business case, technical delivery, training and for ensuing suitable channel support programmes are in place, working closely with Sales, Marketing Communications eCommerce stakeholders

·        Responsible for ensuring suitable tracking and reporting is in place and for providing recommendations on adapting propositions and offers based on results

·        Maintaining a constant watch on competitor activity and working with other key stakeholders groups such as Sales and Customer Insight, alerting the business and making a recommendation for response within 24 hours

·        Working with the Senior Propositions Manager, identifies any propositions, offers, communications etc. required to combat

·        With Customer Insight (both Bupa and Group), Sales and Marketing Communications, maintaining a constant watch on political, economic, social and technological developments impacting SMEs, taking any major developments and creating the ‘house view’ for what these mean to a) SME customers and b) Bupa

·        Using the above, decide if Bupa has a communication opportunity with customers or an opportunity to ensure Sales / front line teams have an advantage from being briefed

·        Taking the lead for any internal projects requiring rapid action – working to assess impact on the customer and establishing roll-out plan to SME customers

·        Supporting the Senior Product Manager to form coherent business proposals and delivery plans by developing and scoping potential initiatives using customer insight, constructing briefs for supporting functions (e.g. insight and communications), designing business solution and delivery plan for initiatives, production of business cases and presentations to achieve sign-off of initiatives and long-term planning of analysis, initiatives and reviews.

 

 

Specific Skills

·        Educated to degree level

·        Relevant experience (but not necessarily within a marketing role)

·        Expertise, experience and enthusiasm in providing data analysis and insight, including experience of using analytical tools and statistical techniques

·        Strong problem solving and numerical skills

·        Strong communication and presentation skills, comfortable working with and presenting to Senior Managers and Heads of Department

·        Ability to manage own time and workload to ensure fast turnaround
