The Conquer Cancer Foundation of the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) is seeking a Prospect Researcher. This position will c reate, implement and monitor processes and procedures for a prospect management system that facilitates the effective evaluation, assignment, solicitation and stewardship of major and planned gift prospects to meet fundraising goals. Key responsibilities:
- Identify prospective major gift donors ($25,000 and up) through the analysis and synthesis of complex information, utilizing a variety of wealth screening tools
- Prepare confidential fundraising research summaries, briefings, information packets, memos and other research projects on both reactive and proactive basis
- Provide expertise in major donor/prospect strategy sessions
- Oversee and maintain records, appropriately archive all research related materials
To qualify for this position, the candidate must possess:
- Bachelor's Degree in related field
- 3+ years of demonstrated experience in development with at least one year in prospect management and research
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to complete multiple tasks and high volume of work
The ideal candidate will also possess:
- Advanced degree in related field
- Experience in a non-profit sector or professional medical society
