Provider Relations Representative - Onondaga County, NY

Job Summary

 

This position is responsible for assisting in the establishment and maintenance of productive working relationships between contracted plans and the provider networks associated with those plans. 

 

Specifically, the Representative will: 

 

Educational Requirements:  BA/BS required or equivalent work experience.

 

Work Experience:   2 - 4 years healthcare or managed care experience required. 

                                  Previous Provider Relations experience required.

 

Technical Skills:  Strong verbal and written communications skills, Strong computer skills, as well as the ability to multitask are required. NYS Drivers license and dependable transportation required.
