Provider Relations Representative Job in Bronx, New York US

Position Summary:

This position works from home and regularly travels to these areas in the states of New York, Connecticut and New Jersey:

New York Metro, Bronx, Manhattan

North East Metro

Northern New Jersey Metro

New Haven, Milford

Bridgeport, Stamford, Norwalk

Provides education and training for network providers, staff, suppliers, physicians, beneficiaries and referral agents as necessary.
Develops and produces all training and educational materials.

Required Education Experience:

Bachelor's degree in any major and two years of experience in health care customer service, claims processing, education/training, provider relations, health care-related environment or a combination of experience OR high school diploma and seven years of experience in health care customer service, claims processing, education/training, provider relations, health care-related environment or a combination of experience.

Demonstrated skills related to classroom presentations to large groups
Demonstrated proficiency in word processing and spreadsheet software

Ability to persuade, negotiate or influence others
Ability to handle confidential or sensitive information with discretion

Strong course design skills to include use of media/other instructional methods
Ability to evaluate progress in addition to actual delivery of training sessions
Ability to use standard office equipment

· Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, or other word processing/spreadsheet software
