Prudential Risk Analyst recruitment
The Role
Working within Prudential Risk to provide technical subject matter expertise to analyse, investigate and evaluate prudential risk. You will support management in develop policies and procedures to ensure that all legislative and regulatory risks are managed to minimise exposure to the firm. Specifically, you will:
- Support the development and co-ordination of reporting on risk matters in order to ensure that the firm meets its external Prudential reporting obligations.
- Ensure that senior management and Board are apprised of key risk issues and sufficiently informed to take appropriate decisions.
- Provide expert professional advice and guidance to Business Areas on prudential risk matters, to ensure adherence to FSA/PRA rules of business.
- Collate prudential risk reports for internal and external reporting and regulatory purposes.
- Provide support to line manager in overseeing the management of the business unit
- Provide assistance and support to the Prudential Risk team on prudential regulatory matters; including the provision of appropriate staff regulatory training and awareness.
The Candidate
- Good Regulatory Risk experience/knowledge with at least 2 years recent experience in a large Financial institution
- Able to communicate findings effectively, and produce concise and relevant reporting
- Knowledge of regulations particularly within the FSA Handbook (GENPRU, SUP, SYSC) would be an advantage
- Good oral and written communications
- Presentation skills
- Good stakeholder management skills
- Professional qualifications would be an advantage
