The recent expansion of the Bank in the UK means that we need to add even more talented people to the team, bringing a variety of expertise and experience but with a desire to work in an Internal Audit Department that can act as a benchmark for others.

Prudential Risk Auditor

The role holder's primary focus will be contributing to providing expertise on prudential regulation and providing expert advice and skills to audits. Specific focus on drafting prudential testing strategies and assisting establishing the approach to auditing prudential risks. The role holder will also be expected to have technical knowledge of GENPRU and BIPRU, global capital standards, Regulatory Capital calculations and the ICAAP and ILAA processes

As a Prudential Risk Auditor you will:

Provide expertise on impact of prudential risks on the audits;
Conduct review of ICAAP and ILAA processes, including the associated calculations;
Calculation of regulatory capital;
Review FSA's scenarios, including reverse stress testing;
Contribute to findings and recommendations specific to prudential environments;
Assist in feedback processes and follow-up of reported audit findings - monitor and verify management's response and implementation;
Contribute to development of prudential audit infrastructure.

Experience required:

Good experience of GENPRU and BIPRU;
Knowledge of regulatory of capital and / or liquidity requirements;
Experience in a comparable financial environment (i.e. Retail/Treasury / Investment Banking).
Good knowledge of financial market based products required, in addition to a strong all round understanding of financial institutions;
Flexibility to take on a wide range of reviews and associated work, covering wholesale, commercial and retail environments;
Good planning, organisational and communication skills, and a team player;
Ability to build rapport and establish credibility with the business.
Excellent analytical skills;
Report writing skills/written communication;
Exposure to ICAAP and / or ILAA processes.

Qualifications Required:

ACA or ACCA.

Salary: up to £70,800 + Car allowance + Excellent benefits
