RIDGEVIEW, a not-for-profit community mental health center, based in Oak Ridge, Tennessee has an immediate opening for a PRN Psychiatric Technician at our Oak Ridge facility. Ridgeview has served the local community for over 50 years and offers a friendly work environment where staff work together to provide a high quality regional system of services focused on the treatment of mental illness and alcohol and drug related problems, prevention services, appropriate social services, and support to individuals and families. REQUIREMENTS
HS diploma or GED required; must demonstrate the ability to work effectively with individuals, groups, and other team members. Must be able to be CPR and CPI certified. Valid driver’s license required and must be able to work weekends and various shifts.
JOB DUTIES
This position is primarily responsible for specific day-to-day functions, provides patient care interventions under the supervision of the registered nurse, and works with other members of the treatment team in maintaining a therapeutic environment.
