Psychiatrist Job in Albuquerque, New Mexico Us

The Psychiatrist shall provide professional medically necessary general psychiatric services within the behavioral health department of the health facility. The Psychiatrist shall provide a full range of psychiatric assessment, treatment, and prescribe psychotropic medications to the patients referred for services. This position is for 3 eight hour shifts during the week.

 

 

The Psychiatrist shall:

 

a.  provide evaluation, management and treatment of full range of psychiatric disorders and medical conditions that are related to psychiatric presentations.

 

b.  collaborate with other members of the healthcare team; psychologists, physicians, and other clinical staff, to insure comprehensive health care needs are met, and work closely with allied healthcare professionals to include; public health nurses, social workers, community health representatives, etc., to utilize and coordinate  the services in the management of the patient’s medical, psychiatric and social problems.

 

 Requirements

Must maintain and hold unrestricted professional licensure
Professional Degree
Residency and Board Certification in Specialty
DEA certificate
