Psychotherapist - LPC, LCSW, LMFT LICENSE REQUIRED

Part-Time and Full-Time Positions Available

Excellent opportunity to join an Agency that has distinguished itself as a leader in preventing and treating child abuse and neglect and providing trauma-informed, family strengthening services to families in Western Pennsylvania.  The position is primarily located at the Agency’s East Liberty, PA location and the Agency offers competitive compensation and benefits.

The Psychotherapist position’s focus is to provide quality therapeutic services to families where child abuse has occurred. Assess individuals and families; develop appropriate treatment interventions; Complete psychosocial assessments and treatment plans; and provide provisional DSM diagnoses; Provide individual, group, family, and collateral therapy as well as behavioral interventions; Perform case management and other activities related to client services; Meet and maintain standard service hours (i.e., productivity requirements) and quality of service – working a minimum of two (2) evenings per week; and proper reporting of child abuse as mandated by law and required by agency guidelines; Ability to work from various sites (locations).

 

Qualified candidates will have MA/MS degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling or related fields; Professionally Licensed in the state of Pennsylvania (LPC, LCSW, etc.); Minimum one (1) year relevant, post-Masters experience; Minimum one (1) year experience / working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and web-based programming; Must have child abuse and criminal background clearances; Must pass a drug and alcohol test; Willing and able to be available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week on call; Maintain current valid Pennsylvania driver’s license; Maintain private auto suitable for transportation between multiple office locations ; Proof of appropriate automobile insurance coverage.

Additionally candidates will have excellent verbal and listening communication skills, planning skills, attention to detail skills in completing paperwork and initiative skills and will be proficient with Microsoft Office Applications
