Job Summary:
The Part-time Senior Coin Room Clerk is responsible for supporting and assisting the coin sorting/separating and wrapping production to prevent downtime. This position functions in an armed environment. This position requires the enforcement of rules to protect the premises and property of Brink's and its customers, as well as the safety of persons on the premises of Brink's and its customers.
Key Responsibilities:
• Record all coin flow to and from machines using the machine balance record
• Monitor levels of coin in hoppers and use bank/mint coin as necessary to maintain constant supply of coin to prevent production lags
• Cross-train and cover for other coin room positions as needed
• Monitor and report any issues affecting production to supervisor
• Monitor and clean the mutilated coin sizer to maintain maximum coin flow
• Clean conveyor nose trap daily to optimize and maintain filtration and machine balance
• Verify box and bag counts on all pallets in the wrapping area at completion of shift
• Confirm that all machine areas have been cleaned at end of shift
Position Requirements:
Minimum Qualifications:
• Be at least 21 years of age
• Minimum 4 years of general warehouse or shipping receiving experience
• A valid firearms permit or ability to pass applicable firearms licensing requirements
• A valid guard card or ability to obtain a guard card or any other required licenses
• Able to lift at least 50 pounds
Preferred Qualifications:
• Good basic math skills
• Coin room experience
• Data entry experience in a production environment
Professional Skills:
• Good ethics and integrity
• High attention to detail
• Collaboration
