P/T Mortgage Loan Processor -2nd shift Garden City, NY M-F 330-pm-10:00pm

You MUST have a minimum of 2 years mortgage Loan Processing/Loan Closing in order to be considered- Working Hours range: Monday - Friday, 3 pm - 10 pm shift As part of JPMorgan Chase, a leading global financial services firm, Chase has locations nationwide to serve our home lending customers with their mortgage or home equity loans. Our Loan Processors are dedicated to providing world class service that will maintain and grow a customer's relationship with Chase. - Process and prepare for closing retail mortgage loans (conventional and government, purchase and refinance) under various loan programs in accordance with policies procedures - Issue proper disclosures as required by federal regulatory compliance - Review rate lock and point objectives for accuracy - Ensure overage and underage is approved as well as waiver of any fees - Set up files and order all necessary exhibits for appraisals and credit reports - Check alternative documentation for accuracy and potential problems - Order title insurance, flood and tax certificates and surveys, reviewing for problems upon receipt - Review all documents thoroughly before submission to underwriting - Obtain and review documents for acceptability against loan conditions with the loan officer, coordinate with buyers, sellers, title companies, escrow agents, surveyors and real estate agents to obtain additional documentation, complete loan submissions and perform closings - Update the conversation log - Perform Welcome Calls, Status Calls, Pre-Close Calls This position will require / requires National Mortgage Licensing System and Registry (NMLS) registration under the terms of the Safe Act of 2008. As such, upon active employment with JP Morgan Chase, you will be required to either register via the NMLS registry or re-register and move your previous registration to JP Morgan Chase's registration rolls. Your continued employment in this position with JP Morgan Chase is contingent upon successful registration after your start date and annual re-registration thereafter.
