Job Title:                   PTM Teller

Reports To:                  PTM Sales Operations Manager

 

FLSA Status:               Non-Exempt

 

 

 

SUMMARY

This position provides transaction processing for customers and promotes Conestoga Bank products and services via PTM machines by performing the following duties.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

 

Greets customers according to bank's Standards of Excellence

 

Accepts cash and checks for deposit and payment via the PTM

 

Cashes checks while adhering to bank's operational standards.

 

Processes transfers between accounts for customers while adhering to bank's operational standards.

 

Sells financial products as necessary.

 

Identifies financial needs by interviewing clients/prospective clients and making appropriate recommendations

 

Explains and promotes bank's products

Computer skills: Must be adept in use of MS Office 2000 or later, Internet, email and newer tablet technologies.

Business and Selling Skills: Must be an excellent face-to-face communicator. Able to demonstrate success achieving genuine sales development.

Management Ability: Though internal staff management is not initially part of the job, responsibility and opportunity could grow with the development of the business, for example the prospect of recruiting and managing others. Some people-management skills, experience and natural ability will be useful.

Education/Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

 

Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written or oral form.  Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
