Corporate Real Estate is a leader in blending global expertise for shared services to create innovative workplace solutions and facility services that optimize business partner performance around the world.
Responsibilities may include:
- Conceptual capacity and flexibility to handle Property Tax, Real Estate, Right of Way Claims (PTRRC) roles and responsibilities in a geographic area.
- Acquiring/leasing/disposing of surface real estate, office space, warehouse facilities and rights of way, including document preparation, negotiations, title review and closing. Investigates, negotiates and settles claims related to property.
- Utilizing computer systems involved in job functions, such as SAP, Google Earth, Tobin, Property Tax Management System and Risk Master.
- Negotiating property tax values with state and local agencies, files valuation protests/appeals and appears before administrative boards.
- Researching ownership information at local courthouses.
Basic/Required
- Bachelor degree
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
Preferred
- Juris Doctorate preferred
- Land or Right-of-Way Experience
- 3+ years of related experience dealing with land access, permitting and right-of-ways in the oil gas industry
- Must be a self-starter to work with minimal supervision and work well in a team environment
- Strong interpersonal skills required with the ability to establish maintain relationships with internal and external business partners, organizations and agencies.
- Property tax experience a plus
- Results oriented
- Strong oral written communication skills essential with the ability to exhibit flexibility and innovation, spontaneously think/respond quickly and be persistent.
- Strong organizational skills-able to prioritize responsibilities
- Computer proficient including applications for word processing, spreadsheets, data bases and SAP.
