Senior Buyer Position Overview : Serve in a temporary capacity to assist Global Sourcing personnel with ensuring Pharmaceuticals has the necessary agreements for independent operation post spin. This will include assignment and re-negotiation of shared agreements managed by company and the execution of new agreements. Essential Job Functions: · Work with Category Managers to understand current agreement strategies being employed and the supply base available · Understand current positions on all agreements with Pharma spend and risks around divestiture Also agreements that will have Pharma spend post spin Execute the12 month plan with clear deliverables · Produce a monthly scorecard / dashboard for reporting Maintain contract SharePoint and database · Work with Pharma Category Managers to develop supply strategies for all Corporate Services categories and socialize with Key Stakeholders for input and development · Review risks around spend not under agreement · Work with Category Managers to ensure Pharma has free standing agreements necessary to operate independently Requirements: · 5-7 years experience with strategic sourcing teams and supply contract negotiations · Bachelor degree · Proficient in MS Office Suite including MS Access · Experience with purchasing contracts and legal terms and conditions Location: St. Louis, MO (relocation will not be considered).
