Fitch Ratings is seeking an Analyst / Associate Director for the Tax Supported, Public Finance group in Austin TX.
Fitch Ratings is seeking a self-motivated, inquisitive professional with credit experience for the Tax Supported group in Public Finance.
Responsibilities:
· Analyzing financial, debt, and economic data related to municipal tax-backed issuers
· Interacting with municipal issuers and consultants
. Presenting analysis to committee of analysts within the public finance department
· Writing credit reports summarizing quantitative and qualitative analysis
· Participating in sector-specific research
· Providing support on high-profile and complicated credits to senior analysts
. Building and maintaining client relationships
. Attending industry meetings and conferences
Requirements:
· Candidate should ideally possess a graduate degree and 2-5 years of experience in Public Finance
· Self-motivated, inquisitive professional with strong credit analysis skills
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
· Knowledge of standard business software
