Public Health Nurse I – Part

POSITION AVAILABLE:                     PUBLIC HEALTH NURSE I - 16 hours weekly

LOCATION:                                            RENO COUNTY HEALTH DEPARTMENT

 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:                           Performs general public health nursing services. 

 

QUALIFICATIONS:                               Requirements: PHN I:  BSN degree preferred.  Must be licensed to practice professional nursing in the State of Kansas.  Requires a minimum of at least 1year experience in public health, medical/surgical or pediatric nursing.  Possess a valid Kansas driver’s license; successfully pass drug screen.  Ability to communicate in Spanish desirable.  Occasional after hour services may be needed depending on a client’s needs.  This paid On-call duty is rotated between the staff on a weekly basis.  Must possess a valid Kansas driver’s license and pass a drug screen and physical capacity profile.

 

STATUS AND SALARY:                     16 Hours 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

(Occasional evenings and/or weekends)

$17.58 - $20.58/hr DOQ
