Job description
The Data Quality Subject Matter Expert will be responsible for providing industry guidance, conceptual and practical guidance and direction on data quality practices/processes. The responsibilities also include program and process design/implementation as well as setting strategic direction. The Data Quality Specialist will working with technical team members and business owners and users. In addition, the Data Quality SME will provide a high level of broad knowledge of the strategic and tactical principles, practices, and procedures related to data quality, metadata management and master data management

Consultants will be located in an IBM office in the Metro area or at an IBM client site. Relocation to the area is required. Generally projects and clients are within the area and require very limited travel outside of the local area. However, some projects do require up to 100% travel for an extended period of time that is generally less than 1 year. Consultants are required to be flexible with their ability to travel and cannot refuse projects due to travel.
