PumpMan, Inc. is one of Southern California's oldest and most reputable repair shops with 35 + years experience in pump system services and repairs. We have a complete mechanical repair and machine shop with an extensive field service fleet.
We are currently looking for Shop Mechanics to repair various types of pumping equipment for the water and wastewater industries such as: End suction centrifugals; Split cases; Vertical turbines; Submersibles; Jet ; Well; Columns; AODs and other rotating type equipment. Experience in all phases of pump and motor disassembly, diagnosis, repair, reassembly and testing is ideal.
Must have a good attitude, be customer oriented and have a minimum of two years related experience with pumps and motors in shop or field service environments.
Top pay and benefits including: Vacation; Paid Holidays; Heath insurance; Retirement as well as additional training. Applicant must have a valid California Drivers License and a good driving record. We perform background checks and drug testing of all potential new hires. Compensation ranges from 20K to 90K per year depending on Knowledge, Certifications, Licenses and Overtime.
