Purchase Ledger Assistant

Full Job Description

A huge multi-national retail group based in Watford is urgently recruiting for a Purchase Ledger Assistant to join their growing finance team on an ongoing temporary basis.

The main duties in this role will be:
-Processing high volumes of incoming invoices
-Handling incoming supplier queries and resolving any issues
-Reconciling staff expenses and supplier statements
-Preparing payment runs as required
-Other ad hoc finance duties as required.

Suitable candidates for this role must be highly numerate and have experience of working within a high volume data input environment. Purchase ledger experience would be highly advantageous but if you hold an accounting related degree and have experience in a data input role previously you will also be considered for this position. Candidates must be reliable and keen to muck in within a busy finance team.

This is an excellent role within a diverse and busy team and could lead to further opportunities. The office is only 15 minutes by train from Euston station or would be an easy commute from North London or Watford.
